Soaring skies meet rolling fields. This piece is of a view of one of our farm fields. I never tire of the brilliant sky contrasting with the dark ground. A crop of new corn is growing. Pillowy clouds reach down to touch the young crop showing the promise of abundance. I add layer upon layer of resin on canvas until I achieve the desired result. Sometimes a layer flows too far during the curing process, and I have to backtrack and redo a layer or two. The process takes patience and a reining in of my desire to plunge ahead. I have to get each layer right in order for the next to work. I hope you enjoyed the process of creating Abundant Sky.
